Opening Ceremony – Distinguished Keynote Speakers
The Opening Ceremony will take place on 8 September 2025 in the historic Aula Magna of the University of Pavia. We are honoured to welcome three world‑class keynote speakers who will offer unique insights into the evolving interplay between cities, planning, technology, and society:

  • Prof. Carlo Ratti (MIT & Politecnico di Milano), curator of the 2025 Venice Biennale and director of the Senseable City Lab
  • Prof. Rachelle Alterman (Emeritus, Technion; Member of Israel’s National Academy of Sciences), a leading global expert in planning law and land policy
  • Prof. Alessandro Aurigi (University of Plymouth), internationally renowned for his research on digital urbanism and smart cities

This option is ideal for students, professionals, and individuals interested in innovation, planning, and urban technologies who wish to engage in conference discussions and networking opportunities.

👉 At this link you can find detailed instructions, both in English and Italian, on how to enroll as an Auditor

Note that each Author who is intended to take part in the Conference must pay the Standard or Reduced Fee.
