14:30: Conference Opening

Keynote Speeches:

Bringing together leading voices from the fields of urban technologies, planning law, and digital urbanism, INPUT 2025 will open with keynote lectures by:

  • Carlo Ratti – Professor at MIT and Politecnico di Milano, curator of the 2025 Venice Biennale and director of the Senseable City Lab – Title of the Speech: Senseable Cities;
  • Rachelle Alterman – Leading global expert on planning law and land policy, emeritus professor at Technion and member of Israel’s National Academy of Sciences – Title of the Speech: Land-value capture instruments: Alternative and conflicting rationales;
  • Alessandro Aurigi – Professor at the University of Plymouth, internationally known for his research on digital urbanism and smart cities – Title of the Speech: Seven Questions for Urban AI.

The afternoon will end with a guided tour of the main attractions of the city of Pavia.

 

During the following days, the conference will take place at the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture – DICAr of the University of Pavia.
